Wisteria Woes: What could be wrong?

DevinJ 6b-KY

I recently went to Italy & came home obsessed with wisteria. I immediately got one to grow over my mailbox. (I plan to keep it cut back and under control, no worries.)

It was thriving for 2 months and then after a strong hail storm went through KY, it’s been struggling ever since. It lost some branches in the storm, and then started to decline. It looks like a mixture of several issues and I have no idea how to treat the problem because there’s little info online about wisteria issues.

It has little holes (like insect issues), discoloration, brown tips, dry spots, is slightly limp and much lighter green than it was when planted. This plant is truly a hot mess right now.

I’m confident it’s not a watering issue because I use a moisture gauge to water all my new plants so that I don’t overwater them. It’s only been watered when it needed it.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions how to help it? Is this a fungus, a pest issue, a soil problem, or something else entirely?
