Such great ideas everyone. OMG Melissa, WOW! The house looks so different without the shutters. I LOVE the SW Urbane Bronze front porch...even the walk way and driveway. I like the Bora Bora Shores front door rather than the yellow. Very nice. :) I really love it!.

We have a storm door with a full pane of glass. It allows you to see our lovely door, but lack of a crossbar in the Middle means fingerprints unless you are super careful to just touch the frame. When the screen is in, lack if a crossbar in the middle means you risk stretching or tearing the screen. Also, we have these plastic things that hold the screen or storm in. You can see manufacturer videos about how easy it is to switch, but the plastic has no pliabilty so it's such a miserable job, we often leave the storm in all year. We haven't put the screen in yet, despite tempsin the 90s a week or so ago. So, chech how easy it is to swap screen and storm and in person, not just on a video.

What about when the hydrangeas go and the Montauk Daisies take over Kidding!! I like the idea of carrying the sign color to the door - that could be very pretty. Does the sign color look good with your siding? I love the Dusty Mauve @houssaon posted. I haven't seen that before - may steal that for our front door!

Anytime you post a question here you will get other ideas too that is the nature of designers for sure , we spot things you might not have thought about. I agree the porch needs to balance out the roof and I do wonder why no window in that roof it would look totally better with windows to match the ones below that bump up. IMO better landscaping and walkway to the front door would both be huge improvements too. The front door needs some glass for sure and maybe a nice aqua color to draw the eye. It does not need a storm door FYI but if you like the breeze get a Phantom screen. I won't apoligize since these things are not decided in a vacuum
