I did see this! And yes, I still LOVE it five years later. We still haven't begun the 2nd-floor bathroom, aka the 1925 Hall Bath/Faux Master which is our only bathroom on the bedroom level with a clawfoot tub & a shower ring. So here's how to do the Starting From Dirt Basement Bath set up: Hansgrohe Ibox rough in Shower & tub fixtures - Hansgrohe Rain S Showerhead & hand shower S Thermostatic Trim with Volume Control and Diverter (tub to shower) Kohler HydroRail Shower Column and Diverter (showerhead to hand shower) Metris S tub filler The Tub Filler & Hydrorail are tied together at the Ibox by the diverter on the shower trim, the two showerheads switch between each other on the Hydorail. There was a GW member (I forget who) that bought a new condo or single house. I recall that it was a new development situation and that the house set close to the sidewalk and close to neighbors homes. It was brick. I recall the interior being gorgeous! The trim was thicker and more built up then any new home built to look old. It was at least as thick and pronounced as my 100yr old Victorian/ 4 Square hybrid. Last night I was taking notice to a home featured in the most current issue of Traditional Home. It was new built to look old. The outside looked old but I still thought that the interior trim was too small. In reality it was probably really thick trim if in an average sized house but it seemed but it didn't stand out to me in any way, shape, or form in this particular home.

I did a lot of research before purchasing my CornueFe 110 for my new home four years ago. I considered the Lacanche Cluny, but ultimately chose the CornueFe. As far às for performance goes, it is a dream to cook with, and a tool that I use almost daily. The styling is beautiful and the overall construction can best be described as "solid" - especially compared to some of the other ranges mentioned in this discussion. I've had a couple of service issues, but all were handled quickly by PM. All of the ignition switches were not functional when it was installed. They had new switches flown in from France and reinstalled within two days. After about a year, the switches went out again. They sent a service repairman right away to replace them. He reinstalled the switches, only to have them fail upon testing. He took off the back panel and discovered a wire that wàs improperly routed over a rough metal piece, causing it to fray and arc. He was able to change the wire and run it through a protective sleeve. While I was disappointed that this was not caught by Quality Control at the factory, I can't say enough positive things about the service techs employed by PM. All in all, I can heartily recommend this as a quality range. The ovens are more than adequate and I love the side-swing configuration. The simmer burner is still a little too hot on the lowest setting, but that is easily overcome with a simmer plate or diffuser. I had 18 family members for Thanksgiving dinner and cooked the entire meal on it without a problem. The 20# Turkey came out perfectly browned and very moist in exactly 2 hours - no turning or basting! Good luck with your choice!

What did you end up doing? I am faced with the same dilemma right now myself. I never park in the garage because of the narrow/steep driveway and the difficulty of backing up out of the garage without hitting the retaining wall. Retaining wall is also crumbling. And rain/snow also directed into a garage drain...
