Bought it from a reputable local dealer for $529.99+shipping and installation. 2.5 years later right past it’s warranty, the handle broke.

Called the dealer and was quoted close to $500 for repair which seems sooo ridiculous to me.

Is it that expensive to replace microwave door handle or the dealer is scamming? Should I just order parts myself and install a new one myself? This is insane to me.
