Oh, Sheila! Those are all such beautiful blooms! Your 2 Umbras are doing so well. Don’t you love the pink to lavender to mauve shades and the way the layered petals make ruffles? I am absolutely ga-ga over that bloom form! My baby from John isn’t blooming yet but is pumping out new foliage and hopefully lots of roots. My Nuits de Young and Capitaine John Ingram mosses from Claire aren’t blooming yet this year either. I planted CJI last year and it has really grown. Nuits got shoved into cramped quarters with a bunch of Gallicas during the rat scramble, so I need to pull it out and move it to its own sunny spot. I’m so glad you grow Etienne! I gave mine to admirers and then had trouble replacing it. I have likely filled its space with another Barden rose now, but it makes me happy knowing you grow that beetroot-colored beauty. My Carolyn Supinger is so cute! You grow her, too, I think? Here is a bloom covered in fine mist from my hose. We hit 90 up here in PDX today. Carol
