exterior paint...am I crazy to think yellow?

1900 cottage needs exterior paint after remodel.

It was faded cream color and I am now thinking of painting yellow or sage green.I have put up swatches of color on side but can not make a decision.

    Yellow is a color that glows brighter in the outdoor sun. Go paler. And do much bigger swatches. Those colors will go neon bright when in a large amount outside. Sherwin Williams Ivoire is a soft buttercup shade on an exterior. SW Lily is just a true yellow, but not too intense. Daybreak is a touch softer.
