Comments (4)Thanks for the feedback! I guess the pegboard idea is not so great? I will investigate rollouts again for the lower 2 shelves; the highest shelf is too high to make a rollout practical, which is why I wanted to use the back of the door. desertsteph I like the idea of mounting something between the shelf fronts and frame; hadn't thought of using that space and that way it won't strain the hinges. Any other thoughts? I'd love to hear!...See MorePantry Organization Help
Comments (16)I should have added the pantry looks like that currently because we are getting ready for paint so I have been putting anything food related or that touches food in there. The shelving is being completed taken out once the paint is done on the cabinets. This is what is going in but white and and the shelves on the left and right of the corner will be roughly the same height and number as the corner unit shown, along with the corner unit. The shelves are fully adjustable. I just don't know if 14 inches deep is going to drive me nuts as right now these metal wire ones are 16. This is the only placement we can agree on as I want the microwave at eye level or we have to keep the dreaded OTR (induction cooktop in our case) microwave like we have now. My husband said no to countertop and all of our uppers are too shallow....See MoreNeed help with closet organization layout
Comments (4)I was messing around in Sketchup can came up with this layout using hanging towers. The middle rod would hold dresses and unused dressy clothing for both of us. I'd skip putting in the bottom rods to see how it works with just the top first. If the bottom rods aren't needed, then the laundry basket and perhaps a shoe system would go there. The towers have adjustable shelves using pegs. Top shelf would be 12in from ceiling, and with a 72" hanging tower, that would give about 12" off the floor. Currently we just keep a carry on bag on our top shelf. Thoughts?...See Moreneed help with home office organization & decor
Comments (5)I would take out everything you don’t absolutely need and start from there. Be ruthless. In my experience, it’s more comfortable as a guest to sleep on good quality air mattress than most hideabeds. (So if you need justification to get rid of the sofa, you can try that ;) I would also move the printer off the desk (and onto a side table). I’m surprised there is so little paperwork and books. (Maybe that’s hidden). Maybe get a low bookshelf to store stuff like that. I suggest googlIng different offices to see what appeals to you, in terms of functionality and design. Good luck....See MoreSas237
