BM Natural Cream on the cabinets, why not BM Natural cream in a egg shell finish for the walls.

It will look different on different surfaces and at different angles, semi gloss finish on the trims.

I think it would be stunning, especially blending into the other rooms.

After you get the cabinets done you can always test White Dove to see how it looks next to the cabinets, but Lyn is right, it's easier to just use the same color everywhere. A lot of people do that. What color do you have on your trim, or were you planning on painting that too? If you like White Dove better everywhere else you're going to be painting, rethink the cabinets. Would White Dove work there as well? If you are only looking at the tiny paint chips from the paint store, move on to larger samples so you get a better idea how both colors would work.

@kandrewspa- Thank you for your help. Yes, I should i mentioned that the plan was to go with White dove everywhere including walls(eggshell) ,trims(semi-gloss) & ceiling (flat) to not think too much about matching undertones and such!

I like the idea of keeping things cohesive and using the same color, however, my fear is that it all looks flat. The difference in sheens should help, though? So white Dove on the cabinets in a different sheen than walls, trims & ceiling?

@Lyn Nielson, thank you so much for the suggestion. I love how lovely Natural cream is so doing it everywhere in teh kitchen sounds like a fab plan. I'll be getting some larger paint samples and testing it on the walls to see how it looks :)

will you also be adding/adjusting the lighting? the window coverings will also affect the look... you said you are worried about it looking flat, that shouldn't be an issue, there are so many angles and surfaces for a single color to look flat.

... I am doing a bedroom with a wall of shaker style built ins all the same color SW Alabaster. north light, using a light bamboo shade and light sheer drapery, the lighting only wall mounted. I expect it to be quite creamy on a dark day, brighter on a sunny day.

@Lyn Nielsonit seems you and i have very similar taste ☺️ i wont be changing the lighting , but do plan to add some sheer relaxed roman shades to add some softness. as you siad, theres a lot of angles that im not a fan of but have to make do on a limited budget

I dont know if im too late, but 2 years ago i painted several rooms white dove with natural cream trim. I was so happy with it that last year I carried the color combo to the kitchen. The cabinets and trim are natural cream, walls white dove. It suits my 1929 house and eclectic decor. No regrets and many compliments. Good luck.

Thank yoy everyone for your suggestions and confidence boost. I went for white dove walls and natural cream cabinets and coukdnt be happier. Heres a picture :)! The bottom cabinets show true color, top cabinets reflect green from the huge window and trees outside

@schnauzer_mama currently thinking of doing natural cream cabinets white dove everywhere else black granite countertop do you still love your choice were foung a small condo so not that many cabinets etc i just dont want stark white no windows directly in that room any helpnor afvice? any other oucs of yours?

Suzanne Duignan I love my choice still. White Dove is a great option in a couple of my rooms with low light. I'd also recommend BM Swiss Coffee if you like something a tad bit warmer.
