Comments (14)I actually didn't know this, either - but a friend that I delivered some plants to, had one - which is how I know this. I tried it, too, but didn't have any luck. (His was green.) It looked to be a medium-sized leaf - he said it broke off of a plant he had moved, and he didn't know it would root, but tried it anyway, and it was sitting in a cup of water - with many roots. The (two) that I tried, were OLD, huge leaves from my variegated Thai Constellation which were old and browning - which might have led to my non-success....See MoreHelp! Comments (2)@ken_adrian Adrian MI cold Z5 thank you for the warm welcome :):) heres the backside of the plant, I've placed it ~2 metres away from a window that gets afternoon sun (with a sheer curtain), with the leaves all facing the light direction... this is the front view! a real beauty. heres the plant at the seller's place, looks like a shaded nursery (not sure coz she delivered it to my house). but she said it was shipped to her from Japan (we live in Singapore), and she let it acclimate for a few weeks before sending it to me locally... it came to me bound with raffia string, was planning on giving it a few weeks to adjust before repotting with a pole in a slightly bigger pot + chunkier well draining mix of coir/ bark/ pumice/ charcoal/ worm castings. just hoping that leaf isnt a sign of root rot :(...See MoreDave in NoVA • N.
