They do all appear to be different types: one has a longer "nose", one has a green eye, and wider, ruffled "nose", #3's petals are thinner, etc. etc. It would take a connoisseur indeed to be able to tell you the variety names. Did they all bloom at once? If they did not, I personally would plant them together (perhaps not in the same holes), so that I could keep the color show going for an extended period of time.

Sue, Thank you for helping me out! I have a few daffodils. They have been neglected this year. So I am not sure exactly what I will have for trade. This is there second full year with me. I didn't get to pay much attention to who bloomed well this year though. Plus I never have felt comfortable about digging up and storing. I tend to get nervous and worry that I will kill them. Also to add re: the seating. The current kitchen has a breakfast nook with a counter-height table, which I use all the time. I eat 95% of my meals there. I also tend to multitask on the laptop while I'm in the kitchen, so it's nice to have a counter separated from the work zone. The seating as drawn is 60" wide with 18" overhang at bar height (because it's continuous counter over W/D), so much bigger than NKBA recommendations. I did post a layout thread a long time ago (project has taken a while to kick off!( and got a lot of great ideas. I've put a lot of thought into it and am happy with the trade-offs in this version for my small, old house :)

I’d do 24” on either side, as the island will probably be the landing space for the fridge, anyway.
