Daffodil with 4 symmetry

Don't know if this sort of thing is a commonly known occurance or unique. Noticed this bloom in a clump of NOID daffodils growing in my front yard last Spring. It was in the midst of a medium-sized clump of the regular 3 symmetry type. Interesting at least.
Kept track of where it was and looked again this Spring. Same flower this Spring and a second bloom also (bulb split?) so it seens it is a true, at least semi-stable,mutation and not a one-up cultural conditions fluke.
Should I disect it out of the clump to preserve it or just ignore it?
