Comments (4)whaisname, you have a rare opportunity to develop an enclave. The storm may have 'cleansed' the area of much life - plant and animal; harmless and harmful; predators and prey; etc. Hopefully the vegetation that has been replanted is varied enough to attract a variety of wildlife to keep each other in check. Given the chance, Mother Nature will keep things in balance. Give her a hand. Hold off with the chemicals. Put out some monitoring devices so that you may know what is seeking harbor, food and water on your property....See More❗️ 70’s Brick Ranch [PORCH HELP, please❗️]
Comments (9)If the floor of the porch is concrete faced on the sides with brick, then, unless it is damaged and crumbling and either looks bad or is in some way dangerous, keep it. Add a forward facing gable roof over the front porch you have, with the ridge of the roof either the same height or just below the ridge of the original house. What you use for your front porch posts will decide" the look" -- the curb appeal. My personal preference would be to use square wood posts -- 6"x6" or even 8"x8"-- and vertical siding on the gable over the porch painted the same color you paint the left addition that has siding rather than brick. You may well need need a post left of the steps-- centered between the door and window-- as well as a post on each front corner. https://www.google.com/search?q=Front+porch+roof+on+brick+ranch+style+house&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwiy6M2Eg9DoAhVGL1MKHSlzAKEQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=Front+porch+roof+on+brick+ranch+style+house&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQDFDogAdY6ocHYNeWB2gAcAB4AIABb4gBhASSAQM1LjGYAQCgAQGqAQtnd3Mtd2l6LWltZw&sclient=img&ei=giWJXrKfAsbezAKp5oGICg&client=firefox-b-1-d#imgrc=_y514qTlhn2pVM...See MoreHelp????? ugly roof doesn’t match brick. needing to paint trim. ♀️♀️♀️
Comments (2)With no pictures, we can offer the following facts: People will see pale colors first and dark colors later. Pale colors make things look larger while dark colors do the opposite. Urbane Bronze was the 2021 Sherwin Williams color of the year. You don't have to choose from just warm or cool; neutrals are a category, too. Hope it helps. Good luck!...See MoreWhat do you think about this green ❤️
