What color engineered flooring to choose w/gray brown furniture?
Comments (9)Beth H. that look is my favorite! Only thing is, I've been told that UV oiled floors are hard to take care of by some people, and others say you don't have to do anything to them. I don't know about that! So I stopped looking at them. They are gorgeous. I don't know what color to go with though. I don't want to lose warmth. I am trying to create warmth and lighten it up a bit in this dark house and have a beautiful elegant but relaxed look and a welcoming and cozy feel. Is this timeless? I don't want trendy. Also I've been told that that wide of a plank can warp easier. We are in the Southeast w/ all the humidity and on a slab. Is that wide plank timeless too? We must be slower to catching on w/ this look, although I'm starting to see it more here....See MoreWhat color dining room furniture?
Comments (2)I can't answer that question but when I saw your spelling of 'dining', I said 'Hooray!'. It seems that lately everyone spells it 'dinning'. One of my pet peeves is seeing that sort of thing, don't mean to offend....See MorePLS HELP! What color furniture would go with these floors?
Comments (5)Lots of ways to go with blue, gray, or light/dark furniture and either muted colors or bright accents. It'll all depend on your style preference, but there are great options when you search "gray floors" and specify living room....See MoreWhat color of furniture legs/fabric goes well with white oak flooring?
Comments (0)Hi, I am shopping for furniture for my family room (rendering below). I cant take an actual picture since its protected, electrician and plumber are still back and forth. All built-ins on renderings are finals and pretty accurate in color. Only the furniture has to be decided. It is a white oak, with a stain of Natural Bona and slightly whitened. Remodel design is very modern, so I was looking for 1 couch and 2 chairs placed as in the rendering below, but probably a little slimmer, especially the chairs, since space is tight. Which color do you suggest for the legs and fabric? I like this West Elm Lottie Chair , and not sure what is best, if brass or black legs. Black would match the spider light fixture on top. Any idea with pictures for modern furniture with light white oak flooring is appreciated.
