There is a lot of color going on but not having seen it, it might not appear to be a lot of color. Some color can take a quiet back seat while others want to overload the whole symphony.

Did you try uploading pictures or do you want to guess what you mean by navy, gray and mink? If you tried uploading and they didn't load, make sure the pics are jpgs.

TV stand does not belong in a dining room. Need a straight on photo of the tall cabinet, but from what I can see, it is not marvelous. Do you have an emotional attachment to it? What type of table you get depends on what your needs are, the size of the room, what you can afford, and what your tastes are. If you like traditional decor, you will be able to find an affordable beautiful, quality dining room table to seat anywhere from 8 - 12 at estate sales, consignment shops, charity shops and even garage sales because young people just don't want them anymore and do not want these sets of their parents and grandparents. Sometimes they come with their chairs, or you can the chairs from another set and re-cover the chair seats yourself (it's very easy) or have someone else do it. Dining room decor is supposed to be warm and welcoming and stimulate the appetite, conversation, and conviviality. Your current rug does none of that. If you love it or have an emotional attachment to it for whatever reason, please move elsewhere.
