Seeing this combo in someones else house is not going to help you unless they have the exact house you have with the same lighting . floors etc. Where are you planning the SB? Why white at all?

You are 100% right re; 'someone else's house, lighting, floors', etc. BUT here is no need to be so challenging to the posters. Most people on here are doing research, asking questions, posting pictures for other's opinions, trying to learn. I'm sure you know that already so why act so disrespectful to people on here?

My BFF has SW Snowbound cabinets and trim and was considering MSI Calacatta Laza. She took a Snowbound cabinet drawer up to the MSI supplier here. The backgound of Laza was a great match with SW Snowbound. Laza was her second choice. She ended up getting MSI Calacatta Prado, totally different look. But yes, Snowbound would be great with Laza and I'm one of those people where the hues have to match or blend very very well.

You might want get a 9" X !4" Samplize paint sample of your cabinet color, your wall color as well as your flooring, take it to your stone store and see how well it works with Laza and others. All that will help picking out a backsplash if you are not going to use the quartz as a backsplash. Then hopefully you will get a decent quartz sample to help you with a backsplash.

I almost used it on my exterior trim but chose a more creamy white. The Snowbound was a very bright cool white. Just a touch of gray but not dirty. I really did like it though. Inside my house it looked like the primer... I found the only way to really tell the colors for the house was to literally paint a wall. We have lots of windows and the sample chips were useless. I bought quarts - the only amount my SW sells for samples in exterior paint and after I primed, I painted big sections of wall. Smaller swipes of paint require resanding and priming to get rid of the tell tale splotch/roller patch. Ask me how I know...

We will be gutting our kitchen and doing a complete remodel. I’m thinking about using calacatta Laza which is what we used in our hall bathroom remodel. I bought a sample of silver drop behr for the walls in my house and it’s almost a perfect match for the background in the Laza. At least in my lighting. please Ignor the original 1960 countertop. The tile is my flooring. HD didn’t have a paint chip so I made one myself using the extra white chip.

SW Snowbound color match with BM paint?

I'll be the one painting and just prefer using BM paint (Aura specifically). I have experience with SW paints and my area is actually mostly served by SW stores and painters. I just don't care for their products or paint sheens. All my wall colors I picked out are BM colors. I believe I have now checked every BM white color and nothing is quite like Sherwin Williams Snowbound. It just works the best with my fixed elements. Hopefully my store has experience custom-mixing Snowbound already, since it's a pretty popular SW color.

I have Silestone Eternal and really like it. The marble look quartz from reputable companies hold up well. be very careful w/chinese knock-offs as they often use more resin. check out MSI Calacatta Laza. it's a very nice looking quartz that works in all sorts of kitchens. Mitered edge: The mirragio is very 'bland' compared to the laza. If you want to do a patterned backsplash or something besides white cabs and white subway tile, then go w/this one. white on white on white. pretty but so overdone.
