Comments (8)Please help me find the right colors: I loved reading the comments on this subject. I'm in process of painting my dark maple kitchen cabinets white. I'm sticking with sherwin williams brand because I get a substantial discount and I like the brand. My kitchen has a soft white tile floor that has very faint grey and creamy swirls. Backsplash I have is 6x6 tiles that are medium/dark brown swirls. The kitchen is u shaped and small so im thinking white cabinets will brighten it up. BUT, I'm having trouble deciding the perfect color for cabinets and walls. I have it down to 3 choices... alabaster, aged white and creamy for the cabinets. Haven't even gotten to the color for my walls. Can anyone help? P.S. the room next to this is the living room which has a medium hue that looks tan with a yellow/golden warm undertone. It to flow nicely....See Moreanyone have experience growing goji in lower Michigan or similar zone?
Comments (1)I have Phoenix Goji in S.W. OH. They are very hearty and tolerant plants. Animals and insects are attracted to them, but they grow very fast and have always recovered. I think you'll be fine growing them in Lower MI. I don't enjoy their taste as much as I thought I would. If I had to fuss over them in any way I'd probably rip them out....See MoreDoes anyone have experience with Enigma quartz countertops?
Comments (195)The Engima Valley counter is absolutely beautiful, but I would NEVER install it again. I've only had it installed for a month and I already have two big chips in the island. I keep my house immaculate, including wiping down the counters every time I cook to ensure it isn't damaged by red sauce or acidity from lemons. I already have light stains forming on the island. I have marble in my bathrooms that's holding up better than the Enigma quartz. I reached out to Enigma for help filling in the chips. They redirected my email to the store I purchased the stone from who then redirected me to my fabricator for help filling them in. Really disappointed all around, especially since it was $5700 for one slab and fabrication/install....See More- 8 years ago
