Have a look at this thread. They used Cloe Tile with Silestone Eternal Calacatta Gold. It really looks gorgeous and I've bookmarked it myself for a future project. I agree that mixing the real marble with the Silestone may not work well. But I think you can put some sample boards together for your favourite choices and lean them up against the wall to help you visualize. You can also try different grout colours on your sample boards. The Cloe tile has significant variation and I think that is a plus. The problem of matching the white of your cabinets with the white in the Silestone and another white in your backsplash can be really tough. They are never all going to be the same and if you miss on one of the choices, then something is going to look dingy. But I think the colour variation in the Cloe tile will help with that, pull all the whites and some of the colour from the Silestone together. I'm sure it will be lovely. It’s a new build btw:) Floor colour is on the bottom and is a medium stained oak, then there’s a custom rustic white oak that’s on the back of the island and island legs, plus a thicker trim piece on the bottom of our custom black patina metal range hood. The rest of the cabinetry is white (just not sure which white?!) This picture makes the simply white, by benj moore, look whiter than it is- It’s quite warm(slight yellow). Tiles are white, but gradient, so there’s warmer and whiter versions all in a box-the warmer version of gradient tile isn't yellow though it’s more true off white. installed in 3/4 subway stack. So i’m really just wondering about the cabinet colour. Simply, oxford? Any other thoughts? I don’t usually use Sherwinn williams colours but maybe should look at those?

Hi! Being totally honest, I don’t love them together. The mix of warm and cool doesn’t quite jive. The patterns on all of the different stones compete and would be too busy for my taste. Are you planning to remove the 4” granite backsplash? If so, you may need to replace the tile backsplash anyways. If you are set on the calacatta gold, I’d pair with a simpler backsplash. If you are keeping the current backsplash, I would do a solid colour countertop. Let us know what you decide!

Last week we had Laza installed from Home Depot and we love it! We have alot of work left to do on our reno, but thought I would throw up some pics. When doing our research, I appreciated everyone's pics and reviews. We absolutely made the correct decision. We had 74 sq feet installed for $6600. I believe it is the old Laza, because we saw the new Laza and it did not have the same amount of "thin" veining (see the pic of the full slab, that was the new Laza). The undertone of the quartz is more white than cream or gray -- the pic by the coffee maker and fridge cab make it look creamier than it actually is. The installers did such a great job, there is one seam at the faucett hole, and one straight seem at the corner -- can't see either one. Bottom pic, trying to give a better perspective of the undertone color of the quartz -- the tile on the left has a very slight cream color and the tile on the right is more of a pure white. It's difficult to capture by camera.
