I have some with 9 ribs, 8 ribs and 6 and 5 with 4 being the most common. My crested Huernia has 11 ribs. makes it very hard to count. Didn't see those leaves but my be the soft spines of huernia. Right now I am a Huernia addact and seeing them everywhere so maybe my brain is the one not working. Also forgot to add my good wishes to your son as well. Comments (16)What a wonderful day indeed! Having met three of the four of you, I can attest that you all got on fabulously and had a lot to talk about! The closest Penzey's to me is about an hour, so I usually drive 7 hours and go to the one in Oak Park IL! Go figure... Love TJ's and Whole Foods, too but again, they're along way from my home in the "boonies". But they are opening a new TJ's this coming summer/fall only 1/2 mile from my work, so I see lots of paychecks being spent there in the near future! Glad you all could get together, and really glad you get to enjoy some sunshine. Not sure when I'll see the sun again around here! LOL Linda...See MoreChance to Get Trader Joe's stuff-Suggestions?
Comments (23)Have to say that the "1000 layer crackers" are so very good! They don't look very fancy but have just the best texture and a grainy/nutty flavor that complements, but doesn't overpower, a good cheese. They are my new favorite cracker. I'm not crazy for pretzels and generally choose other snacks over them, but those chocolate covered, peanut butter filled pretzels are something else. The filling has bits of nut and the chocolate is smooth and fine. The texture and little hint of salt from the pretzel makes it all sing. We didn't end up using the frozen appetizers. DH made a run to his favorite cheese place and got such a nice assortment that with bread, crackers, grapes, sliced pears & apples and nuts we were good to go for the number of people we had. I'll report on how I like them when we try them. Thanks to everyone who keeps posting their favorites. My list of "must try" items is growing!...See MoreKatieC
