Please help with TV wall decor

This is a passing through space between a lobby and another door to garage door, to a half bathroom and office room. That’s why I can’t use any big symmetrical book shelves on both sides of this tv unit. All I can think of small stuffs on the wall. But still couldn’t figured out exactly what kind of stuffs will have decorative looks with purpose. I also wanted to change tv bottom entertainment center to something wall mounted white/ neutral entertainment center. I like contemporary/modern. I have white leather sofas in this living room. This is a small/ medium family living room. I love plants that’s why sometimes thought add floating shelves where I can place couple of hanging plants. Please help how can I decor this wall which will works for the passing through space. Thank you everyone.

IMO no stuff needed. Once you get the proper size wall mounted console it will look great. Remove the clock.

I would select the long console first and then see what else is needed. I hope you'll find a long-enough console with a TV of that size. It seems it's always the husbands who want a huge TV, but of course they're not thinking of how it will fit in with the decor. Fortunately you have a nice long wall so it's not as bad a look as some I've seen. A fairly light-colored console would probably look best against the dark wall and floor.

Need help with mantle decor and paint color please. Tv has to stay.

I think I would remove everything from the mantle/cabinet and paint it one shade deeper than the wall it is on. Then fill the niches with large pottery, baskets, or metal bins. Leave the mantle empty and possibly two wrought iron wall sconces for a large fat candle on either side of fireplace. This picture shows some elements that might translate to your fireplace area. Color of fireplace is similar to wall. Basket adds texture that would look good in the niches The pottery vases and tall big plantings help balance the weight of the whole fireplace wall. I think it would also be nice if you had doors made for the side niches and use the center niche for a large filling plant in pottery, metal, or basketry.

Appreciate the ideas! A couple thoughts: we are not going to make any structural changes (ie. removing the bar). The chairs are not keepers and do fit under the bar for what it's worth. I definitely like the idea of something more streamlined and open vs. leaning into a more formal and structured built-in style. Also worth noting that we do not have any sort of media units (DVD players, etc.) as they are all integrated into either the TV or hidden.

I figured. I think if you could even spare a foot, it might open up some options. We have a long tv wall too. It helped to get a long low console under the tv… still haven’t found the right thing for the right side of the tv myself. Would you consider a gallery picture wall? There might be a way to find a calm, unbusy collection of pictures…. And it could even dip below you table or a chair a bit…Here’s a little googled example. You could cut some shapes/sizes of art out of paper or cardboard and stick them on the wall… stand back and take a pic. See if it’s your cup of tea.

Here is the two point of view from my hallway to family room. I also want to change my coffee table and corner chair right now. And later I will change both sofas. I will appreciate any suggestions. Thank you in advance

Room and space around TV look clattered with plants. I would eliminate them.

Sometimes people think more is good. Here less is better. Yes to getting the tv wall mounted and console. The one that @jck910 posted is a great example. but I might go light wood since white can look a bit modern for your space.

I would remove all the clutter from the fireplace mantel as well. IF you love the plants, dont add more decor it just starts to look too full. maybe hang a few plants from hooks in the celing in front of the FP window. I know this sounds crazy but I think a less busy rug would really help the room.

Lastly bring the sofas closer together, loose the arm chair, and maybe a sofa table behind one sofa for some of your plants and things.

None of the wall-mounted consoles suggested are an improvement over your floor-mounted one. They are far too modern for your home's more traditional finishes and when you attach something to the wall, it should match the home. In fact, this is probably not the right kind of home for a wall mounted console at all. I'd look for something that more of a glorified shelf if you truly need a console there.

You should take your time and find one that is better quality since you're screwing it into your wall--if you get a laminate/thermofoil finish, be sure it is a good one.

I also think that your current rug is wonderful.
