I've never done this before, but I got something from (IDK, nexdoor?) to roast your turkey bones before making soup!
I put them in the oven for about 35-40 minutes with a drizzle of OO and S&P. They are now in a crock pot for 24 hrs along with onion, garlic, carrots, celery and herbs.
I got as much of the meat off the bones as I could to use later in the soup, as I saw some people said the turkey meat dried out.
The woman who gave me the instructions owned a restaurant for several years, so I'm pretty sure this is a thing!
Has anyone else roasted their turkey bones?
