Gold Faucets & Coordinating Bathroom Drains

Design Question about Bathroom metals:

We will be doing brushed gold faucets for our bathroom vanity & tub/shower combo which are side by side in a tiny bathroom. There is a matching Riobel gold sink drain but for some reason Riobel doesn't seem to make a tub drain and overflow hardware in brushed gold.

Our sales rep recommended this tub drain from another company in a different gold:

We are hesitant to use a gold that doesn't match so we are considering black or white:

  • White as it would hopefully just blend with the tub and sink and be neutral.
  • Black which would match our sliding shower door, black tile shower surround, black grab bars, and black vanity.

Concerns:

  • Using mismatched metals for the faucets vs. drains - will this look like they just don't match?
  • It would also be a shame not to use the matching sink drain that is available, simply because there isn't a corresponding tub drain. Or we could do the sink drain in matching gold and the tub drain in black or white but as they are side by side, would that look mismatched?

I would be grateful for any opinions - thanks!
