Changing Kitchen Hardware Help - Can't find it anywhere
Comments (3)I just finished changing my cabinet hardware from 2 holes to 1 hole on the doors and from 1 hole to 2 holes on the drawers. Ideally, you'll want to put more than just wood filler in the holes. Wood filler on it's own isn't intended for really deep holes, and generally recommends multiple thin layers if needed. I used pieces of dowels glued in the hole with plastic wood on top and then sanded after a few hours. Some holes are more easily spotted than others, but they're pretty well hidden under all the layers of primer and paint. You might want to invest in a cabinet hardware template for re-drilling, too. Good luck...it's probably the worst part of painting cabinets, but worth it in the end!...See MoreKitchen hardware help
Comments (5)Knobs. Pulls look like they are competing with the design to me. If you do go for knobs, (I will write what probably doesn't need to be written;) all cabinetry on top should get knobs, not just the doors with the cross muntins....See MoreKitchen Hardware Help!

Comments (7)Neither. ( Follow to the end, if you can ) The Brizo Odin in Stainless ( satin nickel ) is not boring, it works perfectly great with the s.s hardware and your s.s. appliances and you just stated you do not want a brass toned faucet. You want the brass tone in your lighting. You really don't need three finishes in the kitchen. ( exception at end of my post ) If you absolutely can't live with that? Do the chrome. Polished Nickel will be a pain and will take on a far warmer , greener cast you really don't want with the hardware and it isn't great with the brass you want in lighting, either. Also will spot far more. I don't love the knurled pull with the EDGE pull. ...sorry. Something sleeker - a closed end D pull would be better. Better yet is repeat the edge on the integrated appliances and pantry https://www.perigold.com/kitchen/pdp/alno-inc-tap-pull-18-center-to-center-appliance-pull-qal1975.html?piid=11295412 !8 inches, s.s Maybe you are thinking the kitchen is feeling a bit flat and cool? If that is the case....maybe a bit of black instead of brass in lighting and switch up the faucet to black ? Change the hardware to warm brass : ) Why? When the third finish in a kitchen IS black? It feels more intentional and at the same time less competitive among similar finishes. Perhaps warm brass on the cabinet hardware.......SS Appliances, and.....black for the faucet , or a black with just a dab of brass: ) A bit more black/brass in lighting where the combination is plentiful Brizo black w/luxe gold.... By now, you have figured out I do feel the kitchen might feel just a tad.....flat. Needing a little jolt of higher contrast: ) jmho....See Morechispa
