Comments (4)I think the Window dimensions look proportionate to the house in there current size. I think the trellis and some different siding would finish it off nicely. Comments (13)Two choices, no rock or a rock band around the base of the house. If you go with the rock band perimeter, keep it low. Resist temptation to use a lot of it. Looking at your home, my choice would be no rock. I like the simplicity. Plus, it will make the build process easier and cheaper. Comments (1)The shutters & wrought iron filigree railings are the first things I would address. I would remove the shutters or get larger, maybe only on the upper level & replace the front door with something simpler. And I would add landscaping, landscaping, & more landscaping along with adding elements such as pots with flowers, bench, etc. to the porch. Comments (7)Thank you all! Does anyone have experience with the company Brick & Batten? I came across them on a search and looks like they do this kind of thing. Ultimatley, I want to replace the siding, garage door and entry door next to the garage. The "front door" is actually up the stairs on the side of the house, but not visible in any pictures. I also know there are a lot of funky things on the garage side of the house - too much cement, lop-sided roofline, small window, etc. I'm hoping to add/change design elements to help improve these....See MoreRelated Professionals
