You can always remove it and drywall over the opening. Or replace the door with a solid door, paint it and the trim the same color as the walls and it will disappear. It's kind of hard to ignore it when it is white and partly glass.

Looks like at one point this room was divided. Is either of the doors necessary? Is there a reason to close this room off from the hallway? Would a simple opening work?

Would it make sense to remove both doors and the section of wall between them? It seems weird to have such a small entry into a living room. (although keep in mind that opening up the space may open up some issues with flooring.)

Unless you're trying to keep noise down. In that case I'd remove one door and drywall over it. Keep the door that has better flow. (I'm guessing that would be the one on the right?)

I would see if a carpenter could create a large cased opening by removing the 2 doors and the wall between the 2 doors.

I for sure would close off the one and drywall but it would make more sense to open that whole wall up as much as possible from what I can see there is probably issues with connectiong suites as far as removing that whole wall but to open up the space between the doors should be doable and it would make your entry feel so much better .

So a divider wall and two doors were added? If I'm understanding that correctly, then it's possible the flooring is still intact underneath. I think based on your plans, knocking that down and turning it into a large entrance would be best. It will visually help the space feel bigger, and let more light into the hallway.

The divider wall ran between the two doors in the living room. Its a typical Amsterdam style. Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately the wall cannot be knocked down in between..

Where is the kitchen? I would remove door 2 and fill in with drywall and paint. Unless you want another room. Then I would just replace the wall that was removed.

Do you actually need two swinging doors here? I know the European way is to have doors between all rooms and usually swinging into the room with the hinge side against the main part of the room. (In America most doors swing to a corner or to the closer wall.)

Two openings would not be as problematic if they didn't have doors on them. Is it an option to just not have the doors? Again it's the typical American style not European style but here there would probably not be doors on the living room.
