Comments (5)When you are in Photobucket, place your mouse pointer on the picture you want to post,a small box just under the left corner of the picture will appear, click in this box and then choose another picture and repeat for as many pictures as you wish. Then scroll down to the toolbar at the near bottom of the page and click on the title that reads Generate HTML and IMG Code, when the next window opens you have 5 choices. The first two are the best to use in a forum, but your choices are listed in all 5 areas. Highlight (right click in the area) and copy (left click to copy) the desired code area. Then come back here to your message and paste (left click). Try them both, but remember you have to "Preview Message" before the pictures will appear for you to proof read. Hope this helps, Belle...See MoreWhat color couch in this room?
Comments (15)Don't count out leather yet since it would be awesome with your dog. We went to a very large. Furniture store near where we live and they have a clearance section. This is for things that aren't selling but also customer returns. A couple of different customers had returned The leather sofas they had purchased because that didn't quite fit the space in their homes. These were 100% top grain leather sofas were discounted greatly. We got ours for a little over $500. I would check around...See MoreWhat color furniture with this couch/floor/room?

Comments (11)I have a corner fireplace. It took me a while to figure out that furniture does not need to be parallel to walls or squared to the floor plan. Our solution: freestanding sofa on the diagonal, facing fireplace. Two comfy chairs to either side of fireplace facing one another or angled toward sofa. Accent chairs where they fit. We even turned the carpet on the diagonal. Getting it right took some sliding of furniture back and forth, but we found a distribution that works very well for the space, and is flexible for company. Since family and visitors gravitate toward this part of house, the triangular area behind a free--standing sofa is open enough to prevent traffic jams. Maybe something similar would work for you. Additionally, we have a more open arrangement for summer (not so oriented to fireplace), and a more cozy arrangement for winter (oriented to fireplace). On the Saturday afternoon of the semi-annual clock change, we switch the furniture arrangement. Seriously; it is not much work, it gives an opportunity to clean those hard-to-reach corners (blush!), and it is fun to wake up on Sunday morning to a new feel for a new season. Comfy chairs that revolve might be most flexible for alternating between fire-gazing or tv watching or entertaining. When you start searching, you can find some very good looking comfy chairs that swivel. I've had leather sofa and chairs come and go through my life. In the end I found them sticky in summer and cold in winter, which -- for me -- did not offset their handsome appearance. Of those, my favorite color was the cinnamon-colored leather. There are a surprising number of shade available beyond the traditional dark brown (that can look rather ponderous). I imagine you'll make cutouts of furniture dimensions to slide around on the floor plan, to get an idea of variation on how it might work. Just remember; you aren't locked in. Even though moving in and unpacking is exhausting, it is also fun to "play house" by shuffling furniture from time to time to find arrangements that work best for you. Best wishes for loving your new house!...See MoreRelated Professionals
