Wayfair cancelling order “on my request”?
Comments (19)I had the same thing happen about a year ago-- i had ordered a copper lazy susan and it was cancelled about the time it would have arrived. I think a LOT of Wayfair stock is drop shipped so the communications about availability and shipping status aren't great. I am very hesitant to use Wayfair for anything important for this reason. Ive become accustomed to the immediate satisfaction of quick delivery!...See MoreAny luck cancelling custom pottery barn order ?
Comments (2)It's worth a try, but dont wait too long, or you'll get the whole 'already in production.' The worst that can happen is they say no, which is the same as if you do nothing. I'd try it....See MoreOkay then, which Noise Canceling Headphones.
Comments (14)I have Bose over-the-ear headphones, mostly for travel, and like them quite a bit. I had tried several less expensive headphones, trying not to spend the money on Bose, but finally gave up and bought some. Should have just gone right to Bose in the first place. Lascatx, I think Pallmpsest means to use them when he's on the commuter train - not while driving a car....See MoreHeirloom Roses cancels its customer loyalty program :(
Comments (35)I kind of saw this coming earlier in the year from Heirloom. They used to just put roses on sale with the prices adjusted. They started making you use a code for a sale, if you had a voucher from Bud and Bloom you couldn’t combine it with the sale code. Very disappointing. All of my roses from Heirloom do so well and are so healthy that I didn’t mind they were a bit more pricey. But now they made it very hard for me justify it any longer. Oh well, not like you can’t buy roses anywhere else. They should have put more thought into all of this and spread it out over a few years instead of idoing it all in a matter of 8 months. I figured David Austin would raise prices too but wow this is a price gauge, not an increase. My 2 quart roses from them are exceptional! I would by those 2 quart babies anyday over their grafted ones, but I’m not spending $50 for a 2 quart plant. At least with those they ship them right away and we’re off and going. None of this will I get the rose I ordered 6 months ago that I should’ve gotten 2 months ago nonsense. Or my fave, the lie crop failure email, where you are in some rose lottery you had no idea you were in but you can get this other rose they couldn’t give away. Then get to see people receiving the rose they told you the crop had failed on. Amazing! Wonder how much these DA bare roots are going to be, guarantee they will not be $35 lol. Can’t wait for the Limited Edition Retired Rose we only have a very limited quantity of so get it while you still can for $200! Mark my words that is what all that ”retiring” and oh no you will not sell these roses random nursery/grower or we will not allow you to sell our new roses that you have no idea if you’ll receive anyways. lol they beed them just as much if not more. They will do this because people are selling them on ebay for so much. They are not going to miss out on this cash grab. They’ll sell them for less but still at some ridiculous price nonetheless and anyone selling them on ebay relying on that money better have a back up plan. Poor roses, disgusting that such a beautiful living creature that everybody loves is used as a pawn in some get richer scheme. If I ever win some crazy billion dollar jackpot lottery, I will fund the small growers so they can just give them away and not have to worry about money and be free to do what they love doing. Greedy bullies is what these companies all are imo. Sorry for the rant, been wanting to get that off my chest! To end on a positive, here are two of my 2 quart potted roses I got from DA last October that I planted in November. The Lady Gardener and Golden Celebration....See MoreOlychick
