I haven't been able to post photos from my Mac in weeks. But I can't blame Houzz. I messed something up in my settings and when I try to post a photo here or attach a photo to an email my photos just won't open. Well they do open but not in a way where I can easily access a specific photo. The photos aren't arranged in the typical grid format, but in one single column - top to bottom - and not even in chronological order.

Even my DDIL couldn't figure it out. Time to call Apple.

It may not be Houzz....there have been (or are being) updates to Browsers right now....Google

Chrome and Microsoft Edge and not sure how many others. During the updates..have to

deal with the mess ups too.

Hello,

The photos on Houzz have an embed code associated with them that allows them to retain all the appropriate attributions and links back to the professional that uploaded the image. There is no cost to embed Houzz images that way.

For use of photos outside of those parameters, you will need to contact the professional directly who uploaded the image to inquire about its use.

I then wrote another contact email stating the problem...that WE can't post photos WE own....

@User, sounds like they remain clueless to this issue. I even tried uploading the photo I posted yesterday without success.

Emily H just responded....we've been heard. 🌷 They're working on it.

Thanks, Nicole. It seems like it would have to be something on their end if they were working yesterday and not one single person could post a picture today. I hope they get it corrected soon. Thanks for contacting them.

Note: you cannot even post photos here from your Houzz. I tried to post a photo from my Kitchen Ideabook, and it disappeared when I hit "Submit."

I am guessing that you cannot update your Ideabooks, but I already had a photo in my Kitchen Idea book of my new kitchen table, set for two.

I haven’t been able to start a new thread in this forum for months. I can only post to existing threads or post on other forums.

I tried from my phone earlier and I thought it was the building I was in. Tried several times at home from my PC. I half expect to see multiples of everyone's attempts to suddenly appear. I hope not.

The link I posted to a photo on one of my Houzz Idea Books works for me, but I haven't tried adding photos to my Idea book, and I do not expect that to work.

I’m intrigued as to how the cat got through. What did you do, djacob? I’ve been trying to post a picture since yesterday on various devices.I never usually have any trouble.
