Please help with color selection for Living Room and Dining Room
Comments (31)I'm really liking the Capitol White. I think it would look really good in the living/dining area. Here is one picture of some sample boards. Not really large enough to show context, but it works with the space. My concern is I think it might not play nice with the color in the kitchen. Truth be told, I'm not in love with the kitchen color but I don't want to repaint. I've uploaded a photo of the sample boards in the kitchen. Last picture of downstairs bedroom. The plan would be whatever color is in the living room/dining area would flow up the stairwell. So I'd like the new color to play nice with bedroom color. I think it does. Finishing the stairwell massive painting project is next, and then I can get the flooring all put in and be done with the downstairs. I also have sampled out a few other whites too, but will save those for later....See MoreHelp me select a rug for my living room
Comments (3)I really like the first one better. It gives you a color to pull out and use as an accent color. I also really like the movement of the patterns on that first one too....See MoreNeed help with furniture selection and layout in living room
Comments (6)If you want to keep the sofas in same spot I would set the TV up in front of the Bay window and find a TV stand with storage for some of your children's toys/projects. That or place the Tv on the stair wall and set up the couches around that. I think the key is finding something that can store your childrens stuff so you can open up the room....See MoreNeed help with living room furniture selection
Comments (3)Nice space! I realize this might be considered heresy in some circles, but I would think about painting the brick wall (same light color as the other walls). That will brighten the space. Regarding seating, do you want leather? That limits color options somewhat. If not, the sky is the limit! Since changing all the seating incolves many decisions, maybe start with just the sofa, leaving the recliners for later?...See MoreColleen
