Comments (17)LOL Michelle...you had me laughing *out loud*...you are too funny! Anyway, even though I've pretty much decided to go with plain invites or possibly the one I made, but minus any head ornamanents (lol)...I've decided to repost the pic (though it's changed cause I was playing with Kathy's idea of veil and top hat)so that you and Mary could see it. Probably won't keep this one up too long though either though! :-) Anyway, here goes... Hope this image is clearer for you Michelle! ;-)...See Morei need some advice, i made a mistake
Comments (24)All I can say is that if I found out that my husband had posted his photos and a profile on an internet dating site, it would be a very, very big deal to me. It would be an even bigger deal if I knew that he was corresponding with other women and (once I found out) told me that he only did it for a "joke" and because it made him feel good to know that other women found him attractive. And then tried to put it on me by saying that it was my fault because things I said or did made him feel unloved. To me, that kind of thing is the start of infidelity. Even if I found out during a time when he hadn't physically cheated, I would see it as him starting down that road. I would have a hard time even starting to put it behind me unless I felt that he fully realized the seriousness of what he'd done and would never, ever do something like that again. If he was still voicing the excuses you've written here, I would think that he still doesn't get it. If you have other problems in your marriage-- and it sounds like you do--I think that this was more than just an inappropriate way to deal with them. This seems more like creating a new problem to add to all of the others. If you do try to work things out, my guess is that this internet flirting thing is going to be one more issue you guys have to address....See MoreHi everyone..... new honesty story
Comments (9)LOL - I have found the 'homelier' a person feels, the more egotistical they seem to be. I have learned, over the years, to look at their ONE good feature - brain, heart, etc., and not their looks. I have been with the 'pretty boys' - dated a Chippendale guy for a few months - and their main focus is on themselves, not the values in life. It sounds as if you handled this situation correctly, IMHO -another bullet deftly dodged - congratulations! I have also found, in my dating experiences, that men do tend to attach themselves too quickly. Maybe it's because they are lonely or have a low self-esteem, but it is a big turn off for me. I would rather they take it one day at a time, develope that all-important friendship, and see where it leads. I have been 'single' for just a short time and am not at all ready to 'settle down' to one person. I plan to enjoy being free/alone for awhile - start enjoying the friends I lost contact with when I was in a relationship. I am more interested in caring friends at this time in my life, not some emotionally needy man, to whom I must account for my activities....See MoreKeep Soffits?? Need advice!
Comments (55)I like the door move! I can totally picture prepping while looking out that wonderful bay window and chatting with those at the table. I am not sure, but what if you switched the fridge to the other side? I was just thinking it might be nice closer to the family room so people could get a drink or snack without cutting through the isle bothering the cook or else have to go all the way around the island. A microwave drawer on that end of the island might be convenient near the fridge and sink. Also it looks like the dishwasher is directly across the isle from the stove and that could cause a problem. What is the dimension of the isle way between the stove and island? I would recommend at least 48". Mine is 53" and it is sooooo nice to have space! Oh and I'd also consider switching those cabinets to all drawers. I keep my pots and pans in a 36" 3 drawer stack with the skinnier top drawer used for my spices. It works great. Best wishes and keep us posted on the progress. Btw, did you decide whether to keep the dental molding?...See MoreBeth H. :
