Paint Color Help! Repose Gray and Edgecomb Gray??
Comments (1)I'm currently doing my whole house in Edgecomb gray. I can't remember what Repose Gray looks like, but EG has lots of warmth/beige in it so it's not too cool. I liked that and thought it would go nicely with a light tan/white couch. I was inspired by Young House Love blog, which did much of their house in that. But of course, color translates different in different homes/lights....See MoreAccent colour that goes well with BM's Edgecomb Gray living room?
Comments (9)Yes, red is fine. But in my opinion the more concealed red is better than the splashy one, especially in a room this size. Make the red preferably in small accents as in: a pillow in a neutral colour with some red in it. Or like a green plant that blooms with red flowers. Variations of the same tones of red in more or less density is more lively than all the exact same tone. Besides that: such a red combines lovely with yellow. So if you do feel tempted to use yellow again, it would bring unity to the house. Both teal and turquoise are good possibilities too, but in such a small room I would rather go for the teal. Since teal is a less invasive colour, you can allow yourself more of it. Perhaps with a tiny streak of turquoise here and there in a picture or candle or whatever. Once again: teal goes well with yellow. The turquoise not so much though in my opinion. Do not become too bold. Curtains are very big. Neutral ones would fit in here better as to not dominate the room. You really think you need curtains though? Might make the room feel crowded....See MoreBest Dark Gray Accent Color With BM Edgecomb Gray
Comments (5)Here are a few pictures I’d like to paint. One is a 2 story wall above/around my front door. The other is a small wall under my stairs that you first see when entering my front door. And the last is my dining room. My whole house was beige & these 3 areas were/are a darker beige. I painted all the the walls that were previously beige using Edgecomb Gray. I now want to paint the walls that are still a dark beige to a dark gray. I get pretty good light & as you can see, I have a lot of warm woodwork....See MoreWhat colors to compliment Benjamin Moore's Edgecomb Gray?
Comments (14)Another thought I had was was bring the Edgecomb gray into the family room (replace the acorn yellow color with it) and paint the accent wall Bordeaux Red (a "blackened burgundy" by Benjamin Moore). I have Bordeaux red in the dining room so it may be nice to pull all the colors together. However, one friend seems to think too much Edgecomb Gray everywhere will be "boring". I do not know what to do!...See MoreCelery. Visualization, Rendering images
