Around here, most people have lawn services and gardeners, none of whom speak English, so it's kind of hard to ask. There are two or three people who do their own work, and we always chat when we see each other out working. The yards are not large (only 1/2 acre) so you can see most of them from the street. This season, I reclaimed a narrow strip alongside the driveway where a couple of trees had to be removed. Man, what a job! I couldn't dig out all of the root systems, but I managed to do a decent job. Since I spend most of the summer working right out by the street, I ended up speaking with everyone who walks by. Apparently, the progress of my garden has become the topic of discussion for the whole neighborhood! I was happy to explain my game plan to anyone who stopped, and I was rewarded by having divisions left on my front stoop by a couple of neighbors. Very nice. I never thought about asking to tour a garden. I'm basically very shy in general. A couple of people here mentioned that gardening is a great time to be alone, communing with nature and relaxing. I've also found that to be true. I treasure my time in the garden, especially since our world has changed so drastically in the last several years. We don't have plant thieves, but there are people who recently moved in across the street who seem to think that the back of the yard next to them is fair game for dumping. They are very well aware that the property belongs to someone else because the man grew up in that house, and moved in a few months ago after his father passed away. I don't think that the elderly lady who owns it is aware that this is going on. I thought I'd tell her and offer to put up "Private Property - No Dumping" signs. To confront the people directly might be dangerous - long story. I guess it takes all kinds. orcuttnyc - your yard is lovely! Very natural, just the way I like it. I don't know what the purple flowers are, but if you ever find out, let us know. They look great with the daisies. I would never take cuttings without permission, but I'm not above pulling alongside one of the local roads and digging up "weeds" on town property. (Not privately owned, that is. I pay taxes, too!) One person's weeds are another person's native wildflowers, I always say! (LOL) But I do know better than to try this on the parkways. Those wildflowers alongside and on the medians of parkways serve a vital purpose in helping to filter noise and pollution. The natives growing on undeveloped land seem to fall below the radar of the local authorities. In fact, I'm not sure which department of government would have jurisdiction over weeds! Homesealed: The original nondisclosure did not include comment to remove negative material already posted. To continue the story since, though. The day after I posted my review here, I got an updated nondisclosure agreement where they had added a retroactive clause like you describe as well. Looking back at records, we first contacted home depot 3 months after installation about the issue. Home depot has not commented on what they believe was the problem is nor fixed it. The mason and the other window installation company indicate the wrong type of caulking was used against brick and the width of the caulk is too large. If home depot does not resolve things soon/we cannot reach a settlement, since I will not be signing the nondisclosure, I will try to post exactly what it says. It is very restrictive and aggressive. I won't be posting more right now though. I am going to try to contact the HD corporate office AND/OR go try to get the local store manager involved to resolve things first, but based on responses from the install people, it looks like I may have to take legal action for HD to repair this or get someone else to do so. I have not even been able to get them out here to fix the "elevator" or "balancer" or whatever it is called. They have not even looked at it. I am sending them a video today to remind them.

I ordered the Ludlow almost one year ago now. I [140lb F] sit on the right side every day, I've been very careful not to sit in the center and I flip the cushions often. I wanted to love this thing but after less than 1 year, I'm looking forward to replacing/reupholstering the 2 cushions because I have to put a foam pillow under them to keep from rolling in when I sit down. The $800 sofa in the man cave, that gets used and abused, is still in excellent condition. Unfortunately, I would not buy Maiden Home again.

I am deciding between these exact two sofas! its been a struggle - I’ve been indecisive for maybe 9 months now. I love the look of both of them! I was so close to purchasing a mota with chaise lounge, but I couldn’t decide on fabric. Then something switched I guess, and now I’m leaning towards the crosby with a custom ottoman. but i can’t decide on fabric or ottoman size. It seems a beautiful sofa - looks to me to be classic (eg won’t go out of style) and cozy without feeling to ”hefty”. I’m getting so confused about fabric though. We have dark, antique wood in our house, so I’d like a lighter color, but I still worry about the durability of performance fabrics holding up against our three boys, dogs, and cats..
