Warm white for low natural light: BM Timid White, Crisp Linen, Navajo

I am going crazy looking into paint colors and would love your help! I would like the look of a warm white/off-white that doesn’t look dingy in our space with low natural light. We have plenty of windows but tons of shade. We have 3K cans and additional light fixtures.

Part of our problem is that the SW and BM color-match samples from Lowe’s/HD are not true representations of the actual color when we get whites mixed (we have checked), so we are relying on Samplize (which is taking forever and poses some additional logistical challenges).

We have BM Acadia White on our kitchen walls (and I love it there) but I’m not sure it’s quite right for the living room, hallway and vaulted entry. I cant pinpoint why exactly… too bright/yellow?

Here are some samples we have tried: SW Alabaster (too white), SW White Duck (too grey), SW mayonnaise (almost seems pink in some lights) and SW Shoji White (too grey).

Do any of you have thoughts/advice/experience to share about the following colors, especially in spaces without natural light?

  • BM Timid White
  • BM Navajo White (I’m worried this may be too beige for our tastes)
  • BM Crisp Linen (I can’t seem to find many examples of this online)

FYI our trim is SW Alabaster.

Living room: BM Edgecomb Grey

Kitchen: SW Alabaster trim, BM acadia white walls, unknown cabinet color

Entry/hall: BM Edgecomb Grey
