Edited to say Pets. Meant to say Pets but wrote down pups probably because I was letting out my pups who were demanding to go out into the snow :-). Only one cat tries to go out every time. She's not allowed without the leash.

The snow and pets look lovely! We don't get snow very often.

@Islay Corbel We still get snow but not as much as in the past. I actually prefer snow to ice/sleet/rain - although I don’t love it when we get several feet at a time. Once the temperature gets well below freezing the air is drier and it is more comfortable to be outside. And a good layer of snow keeps the house warmer.

Oh my! Lobster rolls! Yum. I was dragged somewhat unwillingly for a long long wait for lobster rolls during a Downeast birthday adventure a few years ago. I love lobster but mayonaisse not so much. So I have always avoided lobster rolls. Red’s is an iconic lobster roll place and they make the buttery kind (no mayo). They were messy, decadent and delicious. These look fabulous.

I am planning some fresh spring rolls with microgreens. I am still working through my Christmas mass production. I was thinking with tofu or poached chicken - but maybe some lobster....

I've been trying to get to spring rolls for a month now. Or sushi. We have had oysters every way i can think of since christmas. Spring rolls i like shrimp. Or hot smoked salmon. Will be excellent with all our microgreens. I have the ingredients for both.

I'm an in-betweenie about lobster rolls. Connecticut goes way overboard with the butter. Too much on the bread and way overboard in the toss of the lobster meat. NewEngland goes overboard on the mayo dressing. I butter and toast the spit-top bun. (the inside) Gently warmed lobster meat, not hot. Tossed in a bowl with the most scant of dressing using some horseradish, a tiny pinch of tomato from the tube, lemon juice. And the inter tender core of celery with the leaves. Half a shallot, both minced fine. A green onion to the table. The smallest mayo for creamy. No capers, gerkins....

My BIL is a great cook but he butter bathes everything from eggs to steak and overboard with mashed potatoes. I like a pat of softened butter, but melted it is just greasy to me.

Cool radish festival. A;ways impressed with the Mexican celebrations. So colorful. Have not heard of that one!

Love the pets!!! Roxie liked going out in the snow on the balcony. If she was ever off-leash, she'd probably have been off in a shot.

That looks like my driveway right now, and we're headed towards another 8-10". It's been in the single digits, so my cat asks to go out, gets to the open door and starts yelling. He's been on the porch once, for about two minutes, complaining the whole time. New kitten made it out once. He knows better now, lol.

Here's hoping for a better 2022. Sadly, it's not off to a great start...

We got a 1" dusting the other day. Here in NC it is only a bit every other year or so which suits me fine. I grew up in Toledo where I believed it was cold from September to Easter, Went ice skating on the Lake on Thanksgiving days - it was so cold and we scraped snow off to play. Memories are warmer than reality.

About radishes: Those little people made from them are fun! But, give me a fat half dozen, mandolin sliced thinly as paper, on heavily buttered crusty white bread with a dash of Kosher salt, and maybe some tiny chives. Heaven.
