Oh thank you for posting this. I've had a nasty cold all week and while I was able to finish my shopping online I haven't been out to pick up stocking stuffers.

I second the good pen and pencil suggestions.

While we were visiting my young adult daughter last week, she was thrilled to find a pencil on the ground. :) So my other daughter got her a package of shiny new sharpened pencils for her stocking and she was delighted. (We had early Christmas during our visit.)

I guess if you spend all your time on screens you don't see the need for writing instruments until it's an emergency.

Also, if the recipient likes to cook, mini spatulas, mini whisk, lemon reamer, rasp grater, a small jar of fancy salt, hot sauces or spices.
