Though our furnishings are primarily traditional, we made the Powder Room more modern. Pendants and a tall mirror to add height illusion, illuminated niche for dimensional interest. Wallpaper is textured.

Hi - that is a fabulous window! I would change the paint before doing anything else. Than think about vanity, but it may look totally different with new wall paint. Also, the sconce is right out of the Pottery Barn catalog so I would wait to change it until you decide on paint and vanity. The tiled floor needs a rug but there again, it will look like a completely different room with paint and that fabulous window!

What color do you think would work best?  Light/dark? kindof digging theese moody blue grey hues.

A color that co-ordinates with the beige floor.

I'm also loving the moody blues but I agree with @jck910 in that the paint should blend with the floor. I was going to suggest SW white egret but I just watched a video on it and the video said if your room doesn't get a lot of light it will make the room feel dingy. I used it in a room with two sky lights so it wasn't. That said, I think something warm and white/creamy would be good just from looking at our picture. I would freshen up the trim and window sill with SW extra white in semi gloss. So many colors to choose from!

I agree soo much thanks for helping me out trendtown! I have SW accessible beige in the foyer with similar tile and sw alabaster with the tiles in the kitchen and both spaces look infinitely better.  You're right, I never thought about a rug, but Its so needed. <3

@Nila Jackson I was going to recommend alabaster - we did our entire townhome in it! In our house, it has a warm feeling. Can't wait to see what you do!
