fridge and/or freezer drawers combinations - do they work well?
Comments (5)If you want 24", look at Perlick. I've had mine (fridge version) for 3-1/2 years and would do them again in a heartbeat. Ours hold milk, juice, yogurt and other beverages right behind the kitchen table (built into a hutch). Because we were keeping milk there and the unit would be opened lot every day, we needed something that both kept a chill well and recovered after opening well. Our milk stays fresher in the drawers than it did in our previous large fridge. When I was looking, I felt SZ and Perlick looked the best, but at least at that time Perlick had better energy features. There is also the size difference and 24" worked best for us because of the limited space for that hutch....See MorePillow combination for bed - need help please
Comments (7)Tina - Oh that's a good idea. I was so hung up on the black/white check w/ red trim pillows I couldn't seem to think any other way without using them/that side. I'm trying to picture if it will be too much red with the red comforter on the main bed & the red side of the pillows. I think for sure I would need to get one black flower pillow to tie in the black duvet at the bottom. I wish they had product numbers beside the pictures because it's kind of confusing. I emailed them once already double checking which pillows were which but didn't ask about the black & white euros. They look larger than the 26" black/flower one. Homebody - DOOOO IT! It's on saallle. :) Good point about the dark headboard. The check will also tie in the skirt and folded down red comforter more. I might have to draw myself a few little color picture....See Morecombining formica and marble in one kitchen - will it work?
Comments (28)At first thought I don't think the formica/marble combo sounds great to me but I can sometimes suffer from a lack of imagination..... Regarding designing around the stove....I respect not wanting to replace something that works. (I'm too shallow to do it, but I respect it) So, I say keep the stove just don't make your expensive and hard to replace design decisions around it. Make those decisions as if the stove were going to break in 3-5 years and you were going to be forced to buy a new one. What would you get? I think you could do marble everywhere and keep the stove. Just accent with a few retro things to keep the overall look kind of casual and tie the stove in. When it comes right down to it, marble is just a light counter top. If that looks good with your cabinets and floor and everything else I don't think the stove will be a deal breaker....See MoreWhat do you think of this pillow combination for the room?
