What's on your nightstand?
Comments (9)My bedside table top holds a reading light, an alarm clock, a can of mace and a cordless phone. The top drawer holds the 3 books I am currently reading, my reading glasses, a pencil, pad of paper and a flashlight....See MoreNew Night Stand
Comments (13)I love having closed storage beside the bed because I always have a stack of books, an iPad, pen, paper, tissues, lip balm, etc., none of which I want to see stacked on top of my night table. I think you will really enjoy your new stand and your husband will love that one little irritation is removed from his life. :-)...See MoreBedroom nightstand & new bench clashing
Comments (68)Personally I really like the nightstands. I think they go fine in the room and with your headboards and bedding. It is a more muted comfortable feeling. The navy of the benches seem too much for the rest of the color scheme. All of the elements together aren't cohesive. Also I really dislike the black table in the middle of the beds If you are intent on keeping the benches then I would change the side tables since you say that the bedding stays. You could either paint the side tables to match the headboard or you could go navy to match the fabric (navy would be my choice). I also agree with painting the legs of the benches to go with your head/foot boards....See MoreMaster Bedroom Help - new bed, nightstands, rug
Comments (24)What a nice room! Love the window sill and white walls. Great scandi feel, indeed. Also love the armoire and its contrast with the white walls and spare modern style. Agree with scooting it towards the wall a smidge or two more. That R&B bed and the elephant print are gorgeous. When I saw the print, I thought why not use that fabric as a headboard? Either hung from a pole to match the sill or covering a padded board. (Whatever is easier to clean.) To my eye, the "sill" gives the feeling of a headboard. In the pics at least. I'd keep the rest of the bedding mostly white. I think a dark vertical print across the armoire would look good too. I'd choose sleek and closed nightstands and add a tall-ish white ceramic vase to hold some greenery on one or both. I'm not a fan of large rugs in bedrooms simply because I hate vacuuming and I have a dust mite allergy. If I had a concrete floor, I think I'd opt for washable area rugs on each bedside. Hope you'll share pics when it's "done",...See MoreHU-187528210
