Do you have the plumbing figured out putting the bathroom on the corner wall? Why not flip the closet and bathroom that way it's closer to the existing plumbing where the hall bathroom was before?

Is there another bathroom upstairs or will this new one be it? Where will anyone in the other bedrooms go in the middle of the night to pee?

Because then the entrance to the bedroom would be a little weird, that's the only reason. 
That was my thought, Hall Bath, Laundry and bath. 
But he said he couldn't figure out the bath to look right. I am pondering this issue and have it on my to discuss list.

If you ever get a front loader the washer needs to be on the left.

Your bedroom will be large but the bathroom is small. I don't know why it would be hard to get a bathroom to look right if you flip the closet and bathroom but at least plumbing would be closer.

I would not want to access the closet through the bathroom in this scheme because it either means waiting to access the closet while someone does their business or no privacy. I'd want the door to the closet from the bedroom.

Yes, bath is small, I need to figure out in the bedroom a little closet with a mini fridge for my insulin pump supplies, infusion sets etc. I could make bath bigger and store there.

I think that would be great on the wall next to the bathroom, not in it (almost like a reach in closet). I think if you try to fit that in the bathroom it will need to be a lot bigger just to have the floor space in front of it.

Anj so, keeping the bath small is a non issue for me. My current bath is way smaller and doesn't bother me.

@ Josie if you see the original floor plan there is a hall bathroom I'm between a bedroom and the new laundry. 
The current Master bedroom has a bathroom as well. 
My teenage son will move to the current Master bedroom and I'll use the new one. Hall bath will be for guest only.

Took me quite a while to understand existing vs new. I would agree with moving the bath to avoid some conflicts below, so did slight tweaks to show the concept. The laundry looks like the W/D fits in the old closet. I would try to open up all rooms with more windows (considering exterior elevations). In this scheme there's still opportunity to rearrange the bath to either move the closet door inside the bath, or move the bath door over next to the closet door.

If you haven't done so already, as an option to rule out, I might even try a scheme where the Master Bath/Closet is down on the bottom adjacent to old Master Bath, so you first enter the new Master into a Sitting Area and a bedroom area beyond.

Question.... Was trying to keep it separate the bath from closet, but the new layout makes the closet smaller?
I have a beautiful back yard, and I need to have windows just for safety, I can't imagine hearing a noise and not having a window to peak at from. 

If I were to move the bath and closet to the south wall as suggested I believe I will lose a lot of daylight and I can't imagine what the front elevation will look like.

I think I kept the proportion of closet-to-bath sizes the same. I just did a quick MSPaint scheme to communicate ideas to avoid word salad, your "he" that is doing this for you will be making it exact and work out issues that are not evident over the internet. The fireplace will affect fenestration on the end and the large bedroom window should definitely be worked out in correlation with the existing front elevation, where you play with the roof, a bumpout, etc that satisfies your curb appeal ideas.

It will be an issue if you ever have a problem in terms of mobility.

And it will be a problem in terms of resale.

@cpartist…. Yes you are right in terms of mobility and should be addressed now. But I really don’t have room.
Resale I am not worried, this house is plenty for my teenage son the dog and I in a prime location, I don’t see a short future where I will sell soon. But definitely something to reconsider. Thanks

You could also take the vanity part of the bathroom out and make that space a built in that faces the closet.

We are starting framing on Wednesday. Took into consideration your feedback and I have the final draft. Can still make adjustments in the field.

Now I need to work on final layout of the laundry room and bathroom.

Need to order tile and fixtures ASAP.

Also, I had to gut my son's bathroom, can you please provide suggestions., plumbing can be move, ANYTHING CAN MOVE. I will put a pocket door, because if door is open can not open drawers of vanity.

My son want something very simple but masculine.
