michelleinc, , Believe it or not, the demolition just commenced this week, so it is still in the box. As sometimes happens, our kitchen reno morphed into a much bigger project than we originally planned. I ordered a Prolific but returned it, as the one I received had sloppy welds, which was likely just a fluke. Many on here like their Prolifics. The second ledge on the Highpoint holds many of my baking dishes, so I anticipate that it will be very useful. Sorry I couldn't be more help to you.

I had never heard of Ruvati until I read your post. I have always had Franke and Blanco sinks. I really want a deep sink with the integrated cutting boards and colanders so I took a look at the reviews on Amazon on the Ruvati and it seems that everybody seems very happy with it with the exception of the flat bottom and having to manually push scraps and crumbs down. I feel I do this anyway with my sinks so I wonder if this is much more so. The price is pretty amazing.

@J Inhof I know it's been a couple of years, but this discussion still seems relevant to some people! The Rachiele Paragon is very nice, and the price starts out reasonable. But once you configure all your options, WOW! I didn't max it out but pushing $6K for a 48" with 1/8" radius, essentials pack, disposal flange, drain board. That may be a lifetime sink, but this isn't our forever home, so… I'm gonna have to pass. The Rachiele makes the 48" Galley seem affordable, since it comes with all accessories (I love how the company calls the 48 inch "SMALL")! You mentioned you made sure to get the Ruvati workstation sink with radius corners and that drains well… I'm not finding that information online. I think all their offset sinks have a 1" slope, but that's a 1" drop no matter how large, so the wider, the gentler the slope. One YouTuber said their top mount sinks have radius corners?

You misunderstood: the offset drain position and the depth of the sink are two separate issues with respect to a garbage disposal. (1) an issue with an offset drain in the corner may occur if you have a very large garbage disposal - for example, the 1 hp Waste King batch feed disposal which is the widest residential disposal I am aware of. The issue is that the width of the disposal could make it difficult to fit into a corner if the sink drain is very close to the corner. If instead your disposal is a 3/4 hp size (I would not go smaller) and a continuous-feed style which tends to be narrower than the batch feed disposals, the corner drain will not be a problem for your disposal. (2) the depth of the sink can be a problem if your outlet drain pipe in the wall under the sink is higher or at the same height as the installed disposal's outlet. This has nothing whatsoever to do with whether your sink has an offset drain or not. Regardless whether your sink drain is offset or not, your outlet drain pipe must be lower than where the disposal outlet drain is in order for gravity to work so that the water exits out the drain. "...this sink in white or gray" I would avoid all granite composite sinks in the white or cream colors. It has been much reported on this forum that those colors are not carefree like the darker granite composite colors, and will stain easily. "I was going to try Blanco but they don't have what I want either so I am want to try Kraus." Why doesn't the BlancoDiamond Super Single have what you want? It fits in a 36" cabinet which you said you can do, has an offset drain in the corner, but the drain is not so far in the corner as to cause the disposal width issue, Blanco is a well-known brand and holds many patents on its Silgranit material, and Silgranit comes in a myriad of colors. In the gray family, I particularly like the Blanco Silgranit Cinder color, but Silgranit comes in a couple other gray shades. You can just buy an over-the-sink drying rack on Amazon for little money, and those tiny cutting boards that fit inside the sink of that size aren't very useful.
