Shower tile dilemma

Not sure what possessed me to have the four (2 top, 2 bottom) tiles a different color. Any ideas on how to make this more cohesive without re-tiling? Different color grout?

I like it and would not change a thing. When tile colors differ, grout will be more visible with some colors. Given the cloudy nature of the picture (lower resolution? cloudy surround glass?) it is hard to see what to dislike about your grout choice.

The color block pattern is attractive and different. Definitely better than the row of accent tile circling the shower 2/3 of the way up the wall. I like how your design ties the white wall trim and white shower pan color into the design of the color blocks. If only the design had given the plumber the right height in order to center the shower control in its color block! That would have been perfect.

It is what it is! Not worth spending money trying to change this and possibly creating a bigger issue.

We went through this exact dilemma. Since there's a tub in the (only) other bathroom, we could have gone with just the large walk-in shower in the master bathroom. Personally, I think it's much more upscale, luxurious and spa-like than the tub/shower combo. However--- before you give up on having a tub, too, you might want to try looking more closely at your available space. We thought, "no way", -especially since I wanted two sinks- but we were actually able to do it, and it doesn't feel cramped. We made the vanity 5 feet long, we have a 3 x 4.75' shower, and a 60" x 32" soaking tub. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It did take a couple of rolls of tracing paper to find the right layout, but it works. It might be worth investigating a little more... post some plans here and folks might be able to help! If I were to do it over, I'd use a pocket door, but wouldn't change much else. The 2 realtors and 1 house appraisor who have been here since we did it all said we'd made the exact right choice for resale... Neither. 1. Continue the pattern all the way around the projecting wall, or 2. If you are using a solid surface on top of the threshold (to match the countertop), use the same material for the end of the projecting wall, all the way up. You would not need any bullnose in that case. I would absolutely, in no case, use a piece of molding there. It would look like what it is: a piece of molding slapped in place after the fact because no thought was put into the planning ahead of time, and "hey, let's just cover it up with a quick and dirty piece of molding". How are you planning on detailing the top of that projection?

I don't really understand the question. But if you're thinking about the driftwood look on the wall, and the third tile is ALSO going to be used, I'm thinking that they kind of look so similar--but one woody and one stone-y, that it doesn't make good sense. Gray really isn't MY thing, however, you obviously love it. If you love that driftwood wall look, then I would everything else solid, and plain, and let the driftwood thing be the star. Another thought: the driftwood is really rustic. I would consider keeping the other elements simple, but probably not shiny. I'm guessing you want a rustic-looking gray bathroom, but a pedestal tub in the middle for a high contrast look. Then in that case, I wouldn't do any shiny tiles.

For two shower heads and this configuration, you'll need to put a full wall next to the toilet so you can have the shower heads across from each other. The only area that closes in is the toilet, so I think it's fine. You'll still have the long side of the shower as glass, with the window providing light to the vanity, shower, and tub where you need it.

The shower glass looks cloudy and the white-white fixtures do clash with the various shades of tile.
Save up the money and redo it in a couple of years. I would suggest a vanity cabinet with storage space unless you have storage which is not shown in the pictures.
