Share Your Ideas for Updating This 1950s Gem!
It's not often a near-perfect preservation of 1950s American residential architecture surfaces on the real estate market. For Houzz community member ncgraciemay, this mid-century North Carolina ranch was a must-have. Looking to close on the house this month, she plans to begin renovations on the place in August. Until then, she has invited us to help her settle some critical design decisions that will need to be made — from the exterior paint color to the kitchen floor material. Take a look at this gem of a time-capsule, and join the discussion!
Built in 1958, this house has had just one owner until now. With the exception of a few indistinguishable details, everything from the tiling to the light fixtures in the house have remained original throughout the years. Would you keep the turquoise trim? Click here to say what you think.
