Hey There: Window Coverings and the design of the house must go together and furthermore you must keep the function in mind. In you case I do recommend to layer the window coverings... As I can see in your pictures, you might have a privacy problem if your don't close your coverings, but of course your don't want to sit all day in the dark. So as a first line of defense (literally spoken of course) you go with minimalistic pleated or honeycomb shades. They fit nicely into the window casing and operate bottom up and top down. This will give you privacy and light management and allow you to look outside and enjoy nature around your home. As the second layer you can opt for curtains to the side - either operable or just decorative. This combination is not to heavy to take over the rooms. It's difficult because the front window is super traditional with the arches and grids but all the other ones are very modern. Because of that, I would try to use the same window treatments to bring some cohesion between all of them.

Are you doing all individual windows with interior mounts in the bedrooms, or thinking of exterior mounted for the windows combined? Wood blinds are very heavy, and will have a huge stack at the top when fully up. Just something to consider. Maybe you're planning to keep them down all the time, but you will lose a lot of light that way. Have you thought about top down bottom up blinds for the bedroom, to keep some light but still have privacy?

I hate indoor shutters they are heavy looking, block light and view and there are so mnay other choices. Use solar shades to control heat, and UV rays they allow you to keep the view and give you daytime privacy . I mix them with drapes or roman shades for night time privacy. I think all the window coverings that can be seen together shoudl be at least the same fabric so I often do drapes for the LR and roman shades for the kitchen but the same fabric.
