Comments (4)Whoa! That's kind of what I was thinking, but I think when i googled it the leaves looked alternate on the one picture I found. The fall color looks pretty good. Any idea if they come true from their parent plants if they are cultivars? My neighbors have a few and they are pink, and my other neighbor has some, but they are a brighter red. Comments (13)SP/VV has been attending the ASLA annual meeting in Boston - sorry for the diversion. That really looks like an Ilex integra to me - insofar as I know that species, which is only slightly. Any chance of images of the potential parent plants from the park? If this purloined seedling is related, then the buds/foliage will likely have affinity. Help us by providing that imagery. THEN: provide (maybe in another thread - Trees? Comments (2)This year I ordered some blackgum trees and a Conservation Bundle that includes Flowering Dogwood, Northern Red Oak, American Holly, Eastern White Pine, Red Osier Dogwood, and Arrow Wood. I like those conservation and wildlife bundles that have a variety of shrubs and trees and they change them a little each year so they don't always offer the same thing. I was especially glad to see the American Holly and arrow wood in the conservation bundle.
