Bought a new Kindle Paperwhite on a one day sale for 79.00 a week or so ago.

A few good flea market finds; a Henckel knife that sells on Amaz. for $50, I got for ONE DOLLAR, a brand new set of queen sheets for $4, sells at Walmart for around $40, an Igloo ice chest for $5, it's a nice big one still had the labels on it. As I was buying it, I heard a lady tell her husband "that's just like the one you got for $28". I had just looked at one from another vendor and he wanted $20 for his, a Baggallini tote for $3, like new.

Hit a thrift store Labor Day. Got a pair of Talbots ankle pants and an Adrianna Papell sweater shell for 3 each. Hubby found a trench coat for 12 and a long sleeve shirt for 3. The shirt retails for 75 or so.

I never mentioned a thrifting trip from late August. Got two Indian Saris for 6 each and a wedding dress for 6. Wedding dress will go to a friend who makes angel baby dresses from them. The sari material was just too pretty to not buy for 6/each. Also found a brand new pair of Cole Haan loafers for 12 and a new pair of Vionic flats for 7.

Oh my niece found what appears to be a Hermes scarf for $5. If it's not Hermes, it's a VERY good knock off. Hand rolled hem, clear and crisp details on the print.

Well, I will on Wednesday when Kroger will have whole beef brisket on sale for under $3/#. It is usually $5/#.

I'm cooking a boneless pork loin roast tonight. Safeway had an in-store special, .99lb! (Reg. $3.99lb) I purchased 2, cut them in half, then froze them.

I got my oil changed today for free. A $70 freebie. I was at the Honda dealer getting a recall taken care of a couple of months ago and I felt like I had waited much longer than they had said it would take. I asked someone about it and the woman apologized up and down and said my car was ready and someone dropped the ball letting me know. So she gave me a card for a free oil change (and all the other things they do at that time) and a free car wash too!!!!

Nicole, I haven't seen that price for a long time! I like to get one and slice it into single servings that I wrap and freeze - it is a favorite of mine for breakfast.

raee....last Christmas they had them that price here, limit of 2. Then after Christmas they had pork chops for .39lb, in store-special. I check the meat department, just glance...to see if there's a freezer-stock-up-opportunity. ☺ This time, apparently they had too many the butcher told me. I was stuffing them in my hand basket...he brought me a cart. ☺ I was lucky to find them.

Before Safeway merged with Albertsons, this one Safeway here, had blue tags/75% off in-store-specials on meat ALL the time! I got spoiled.

If anyone needs a new tub diverter, Moen Branford model 3857 chrome finish is on sale on Amazon for $44. It’s ”sold and shipped by Amazon” which usually means you can return it. I paid $57. Amazon’s dynamic pricing is at work here here. Price fluctuates. This tub diverter model is the nicest I’ve seen and has an old world look and is easy to install. It looks like brushed satin in photo but it’s actually a shiny chrome. Other finishes have different prices. It will be in stock soon. Worth the wait. Keep in mind it does not come wth installation instructions or a hex tool.

Do any of you use a weekly pill dispenser? I found this small one for $1 at Walgreens the other day. Perfect for a weekend travel and I don't have to take my large one. I put one calcium tablet inside for illustration.

Cute little paisley velvet ottoman with bun feet, the loveseat has matching bun feet. I plan on using the side of leather I have left over to upholster it to match. I'll add a little nailhead trim to the bottom also. $5 @ ARC Thrift Store. The young lady in front of me was a decorator....and said $5!!!!.....THAT'S INCREDIBLE!
