Have YOU found any bargains or deals lately? Hhhhhmmmmm.........?
Comments (15)Just came back from Joanne's Fabrics. We purchased duck in charcoal grey and black to make seat covers for DH's truck. The fabric was on sale, the Coats & Clark thread was buy 3 get 2 free, then the woman in front of me gave me a $10 off coupon! It ALL came to $45!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have tons of velcro in my sewing stash and several cans of Scotchguard. Beats $550 for Carhartt seat covers! The line to check out was CRAZY! They had 3 cashiers. She got on the mic and said," 17 in line can I get back up?"...See MoreHave you found any bargains or deals lately? Hhhhmmmm...........?
Comments (22)I found a favorite color of Revlon Color Stay Suede lipstick online at $13 for two tubes. Earlier this year it was 'discontinued' and the only tube online was $26 for one. (Never mind!) This isn't really a 'bargain' but it's still a 'find IMO': Revlon #030 "High Heels", a medium pink. I ordered two other colors at $6 and pennies each. It's a Green Shame (!) that they are three separate deliveries....See MoreHave YOU found any bargains or deals lately? Hhhhhhmmmmm...........?
Comments (29)Nicole_ That was a great deal! I have a couple of different colors (pink, white, and pale yellow) of those tree lilies (Orienpet lilies). They will grow taller every year, and they certainly do get to 10+ feet tall after several years. Once they approach that height, it is a good idea to stake them, as they will tend to lean with the weight of the large flowers. The tallest one in this photo is just topping 8 foot They also reproduce, unless you deadhead them. I let them, and so now I have a little lily forest in one corner. What colors did you get? I would have liked a purple, but never managed to get that color on sale....See MoreHave YOU found any bargains or deals? Hhhhhmmmm.....
Comments (6)I went to a discounted bakery today that I had never been to. I bought some Natural Own Whole Grain bread for $2.00, some cinnamon bread for $1.50 and some oyster crackers for $2.00 a bag, I also stopped by a garage sale and bought a terra cotta garlic pot for .25 and it even came with some dried out garlic. They had a pile of magazines that I'm pretty sure are free at the grocery store. They wanted .25 each and I was only looking for them for my gf to cut them up to make an alphabet scrapbook for her dgd. I tried to get them free, but no go. I will be driving by it again to go pick up my granddog and will pull up and ask if they still have them. It will be about 5:45, they close at 6:00 and its the last day....See More- 5 years ago
