My opinion on Ruggable: my daughter bought one 18 mos ago (8x10/light gray). She has baby, toddler, dog and 2 messy, red wine spilling adults (lol) (oh, and sometimes messy me visiting). She has washed that rug countless times, both by spot cleaning and washing machine. It comes out great. I loved the idea of one myself but needed a 9x12 and at time they did not offer it. Now they do (you just have to check to see if your washer accommodates the size) & I bought a cream/white one. I LOVE it. Me and Messy Marvin here + 2 dogs and visiting grandkids, granddog, and messy adults have given my ruggable a workout. Spot cleaning for me has been a breeze-have not had to throw the entire thing in wash yet but I anticipate no problems based upon daughter's experience. (truly just about everything has been spilled, spewed, painted, chalked, thrown on these rugs and no problems washing clean, no staining). In case you are wondering about real life hard workout for this brand.

Wow! That rug looks like it was made for your room which is gorgeous, btw. My daughter recently found a La Barge table at a local shop for $100. We didn't know anything about it, but she fell in love instantly. It's a little taller than a standard coffee table, but works perfectly in her space. Looks like this one being sold for $1600 on 1st Dibs... I kind of like this, though. She could hang out anywhere in the room until you need her ; )

I agree, white with a neutral pattern. The bookcase seems out of proportion to the sofa and makes it feel a little cramped. I would consider moving it and just have art on the wall there. Some nice art with link. https://www.art.com/gallery/id--a926220/sydney-edmunds-posters.htm

Really pretty space. The dining & living areas seem very well defined by the soffits & posts so don’t see any issues with a rug in both spaces. I would want them to complement each other in style & color. The entry - is that an inlay on floor - like a mariners compass type design? If yes, that might be a more challenging rug space unless design is totally covered up. Might be a nice feature though & I can’t determine the amount of space between it & the door. Maybe in that spot for a rug, a rectangle shape in front of door & a bit less than width of space from door to inlay & a solid color would work best.
