Without seeing your pictures, I'll respond to a couple questions. First - yes, it is perfectly okay to paint the inside and outside of doors different colors. All of my exterior doors other than the patio door (so side door (into kitchen), front door, and basement door (into a walk-out basement) are red on the outside, and white on the inside. I LOVE the red color - it goes great with our white siding and black shutters. But, it would be way, way, way too much inside. I think this is pretty normal. It really depends on what exterior color you chose, and what your interior decor looks like. (Also, if you do do the same color inside and out, TECHNICALLY you should not use the exterior paint for the interior. It off-gasses more "nasty" stuff than the interior paint, and supposedly is (ironically) not as durable for interior use as interior paint is... I guess it's more weather-resistant, but doesn't hold up as much to daily living. I'm sure some people have done it with no terrible effects, but that's the general rule.) Can't comment on color questions without seeing the pics, but regarding storm doors... I actually don't have storm doors, which is a departure from every other place I have lived. The house is new and so it is very well weatherized and so there is no need, from a weatherization standpoint, to have the storm door. (Although personally I would prefer to be able to open the main door and still have a screen or window between the outside and me.) Our doors look much, much better without storm doors. If you do put in storm doors out of necessity or personal preference, I'd go with something that kind of "disappears" - probably a door with a full window (no cross bar) and a frame which is either the color of your front door, or which matches the trim around the door, or at the very least is metal.

I love that door! That deep red brick is very powerful, saturated color, and it needs Trim and accents that can stand up to it without battling. British racing green, a deep blackish green or greenish black, or charcoal, ith a little bit of thin white lines (more experienced people will have advice as to exactly how to place this), would be beautiful. I would use something just a tad lighter for that floor. Given the fact that people are going to be walking on it and leaving scuffs and shoe prints, I'm afraid the darker colors would always look messy.

nooks,,,I just use my Mac desktop, Preview, copy and paste. transfer a copy from one photo, and paste it to another photo using preview. it's rudimentary, but it works. what I can't do (or don't know how) is curved or slanted lines. there are other programs for that and stay away from Brown. Try Urbane Bronze if you want that color family. it would look nicer on the trim. Or Iron Ore. Urbane would be similar to this garage door and trim around the brick doing a stark white or pale gray doesn't really blend well w/the dark brick. if you're getting a new garage door, get one w/the top row of lights and the hardware. (and not the arched inserts. you want something modern/square) if you're doing a door w/glass like this, do the same on the garage door think about elongating your porch w/slate or tile, and take it over to the right more. New lights and a address plaque too

Is the new roof on already? If you are going to be replacing it and want suggestions, you should narrow down your choices to two or three and post pictures of the samples. There are too many brands for us to be making suggestions about roofing. We don't know what's available to you and what your price range is. Another thing that would help you get more comments is posting a closer up picture of the brick. Not one foot away, but 5-10 feet away in good light. What is the question exactly about the patio and where is it? Post a picture of it or where you are considering putting it.
