I can't enlarge your pic to read names and descriptions but what drives my choice in trim is ease of dusting and cleaning. That said, Shaker is a simple style so trim shouldn't be ornate or overly detailed. Eliminate those options and see what makes sense to you with the remaining.

Ditto what @tartanmeup said. i have 5” baseboards in my home & they are straight - no curves etc. a breeze to dust. Casings around my doors & windows are wide & also straight / flat no curves. Our doors are two panel with beadboard type look in each panel.

I would like to go slightly bigger than what we have now (2 3/4”) for casings, but we have several doors that are very close to a wall’s edge. What do people do in this situation? Do you have to size down all the casings so it will fit around those doors? Or can you go larger, and then either cut down the side that doesn’t fit (seems awkward) or do a smaller size just on those doors (also probably a bit weird)?

Ditto Patricia. Follow the shaker profile - 3” to 4” square stock with just a slight sanded edge.

@SeekingInspo - we have some door casings for 2 doors close to a corner - at right angles to each other - the corner side of the casings had to be cut down but the size change isn’t glaring. The mind sees the corner, registers a casing & forgets that it’s a bit smaller on that sode
