No, he's in Canada. The last time he was away for quite awhile some sweet soul (I don't remember whom,) called the police and asked them to do a well-check; he seemed to think that was pretty funny. The thing is, we'd probably never know if something happened to him. I read much more than I write nowadays, and I would miss his posts greatly. OJ, are you well? We hope so!

I've had lots of message disappear myself, especially when using GW (instead of Houzz, which I hate) and trying to paste something into a message. As soon as I hit ctrl+V to paste, I get taken to a page that says, "Something must have gone wrong. Reload the page and try again."

Yes something went wrong, and it went wrong because of how this web site is being managed. If something is working, changes should not be made to it that cause it not to work, but this happens time and time again here. It's frustrating, but the host knows that we will put up with it - at least for now.

There has been a fairly major issue for me, as an auto accident that I had last year resulted in the Driver Improvement section of Transport Ministry requiring me to take Drivetest: vision and knowlwdge done, report lady surprised only 2 wrong of 65 questions.(before reading Drivers" Handbook),and driving tests long backed up. Another incident requires me to have further vision testing. I am concerned that I may lose my driving licence.

I've felt that I could live out on the farm as long as I can drive, Most of uncle's household goods were there and I brought mine, years ago, apart from goods in barn and sheds, so winnowing necessary to fit into an apartment in the city ... and rent would increase by 70 - 100%. I'm hoping I can find some agencies trying to house the homeless.

This is what I have fairly newly bookmarked, thanks to Elmer. You HAVE to have the ..../discussions in there or it won't work.

I would guess that you will pass your driving test easily, but if you don't get to keep your license, does your city/town have any driving service for the elderly? Yes, you'd have to pay for it--hopefully it's subsidized--but you are paying for the use of your car in gas, upkeep and insurance anyway. Perhaps your son or daughter can search this for you?
