Will the real Golden Queen please stand up...

I bought this clump of globeflower (Trollius) labelled "Golden Queen" many years ago. It blooms mid-May, and has semi-globular flower form. I liked it so much I brought it from other house:

Note in the pics there are other clumps of globeflower next to it that have slightly different foliage and are not blooming. These are plants I bought after I moved here. I bought two handfuls of them, all labelled "Golden Queen", but the flower looks different, and they don't bloom until June -- they are planted in different areas in the beds, and all these other ones look the same as each other, but different from the May-bloomer:

Which is the real "Golden Queen"? If it's not the semi-globular May-bloomer, does anyone know what she is? I'd like to get more for the front of the house, and she's the one I want.
