OMG! What do I do now?
Comments (8)Last year, I had alyssum that made it through an April deep freeze. I believe it got down to the teens, and it made it through great. I'm not sure about the other two though. I lost some zinnias and morning glories in that particular late freeze. Most things made it through fine. I believe I put a tarp over the containers at night to give them one extra layer of protection. My single sprout of lettuce made it through the last ice storm, believe it or not. I'm not too excited about getting ice again today. Hopefully it won't be too bad this time....See More♀️♀️♀️Help with my foyer
Comments (13)Painting the foyer a much lighter shade of the same blue color of your dining room would be worth considering. If it will fit above the wainscoting, you could have the entry mirror replace the mirror and other items you already have on that one wall in the dining room. As is, that dining room wall is a bit "busy". Is there an empty corner in your dining room not in your pics where you could add modern wall hung corner shelving for displaying your plates -- a solid wood version of this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Wall-Mount-Corner-Shelf-Modern-Decorative-Bookcase-White-4-tier-Corner-Shelf/466931732...See MoreHAPPY MARDI GRAS 2020! ⚜️⚜️
Comments (18)We here in the Tampa Bay Area have what's called the Gasparilla Pirate Festival which includes a parade in late January. (It's mainly a money-making thing for all the snowbirds that are still here.) It's been going on for over a century. When I was a kid my grandma lived on a street that the parade went down and we saw it for several years in a row. But when my son got to be old enough to know what was going on I took him and couldn't believe what was going on. I vowed not to take him back. People were acting as if it was Mardi Gras and I'm talking broad daylight flashing and heavy drinking/drug activity. They finally started having a separate parade day for the children because a lot of families refused to go anymore. So I don't have anything against people who want to hoop and holler and act up in adult fashion but not around the kids....See MoreWhat do you think about this green ❤️
